Before Care Information: 

Before care will be provided by Mrs. Aida Marquez and a team of teachers and assistants. It begins at 6:30 a.m. every day, starting MONDAY, AUGUST 26TH. Students will enter through the double glass doors, where they will start their day in the front activity room. 

  • Parents MUST sign their students in and out each day to ensure that the proper times are entered into ProCare 
  • School doors will open at 8:15 a.m., for ALL students to begin entering the building and walking to their classes. 
  • If your child enters the double glass doors before 8:15 a.m., you will be billed for that time. 

After Care Information: 

Aftercare will be provided by Ms. Rita Brown and a team of teachers and assistants. It begins at 3:15 p.m., starting MONDAY, AUGUST 26th, and ends at 6:00 p.m. every day. 

  • After care is NOT provided for early dismissal days or when MPCS is closed 
  • Our Aftercare program provides the three following tracks: 
  • 1. Pre-School 
  1. Kindergarten-3rd 
  1. 4th– 8th 
  • The Preschool and Kindergarten students will be served a snack at the beginning of aftercare and then go to recess. 
  • Students in 4th–8th Grade will have recess first and then served a snack while completing homework. 

ProCare Tips: 

Keeping our students safe and accounted for remains our top priority. 

Procare is a great tool in helping us do just that. If you need before and/or after care, please email me immediately with the approximate times. Also, please follow the instructions below:  

  • Please sign in/out your student. (If the teacher sees a student has not been signed in or out, she will sign in/out that student but will register the time as 7:00am for sign in or 6:00pm for sign out.)  
  • If you have MULTIPLE students in before or after care, you must tap each student’s name to sign them in/out. 
  • If you have a family member and/or friend drop off or pick up, they must sign  the student sign in/out. Each student has a 4-digit PIN number (listed on your Procare account) to use for signing in or out. Also, the staff are available to help as needed.  
  • The cost is $3.75 for any portion of an hour used for before and /or after care until 6 P.M. 
  • If you pay through Procare, there is a charge for both credit card/debit card (even though debit is not listed as such). You can pay cash or check at the school, but if you would like to use a card, please be informed that because MPCS gets charged for the debit transactions, those charges will be forwarded onto the before/aftercare billing.  
  • Please call if you will be after 6:00pm. Procare begins charging $1.00 per minute after 6:00pm.
